I'm terrible at buying gifts. Like genuinely terrible. But I saw this and thought I'd try it. Put our two kids' names on it. When she opened it she actually cried. I've never got that reaction from a gift before. She hasn't taken it off in three months. Already planning to get her mum one for Christmas.

My children got me this for my birthday with all four grandchildren's names on it. I honestly haven't taken it off since. Every time someone notices it I tell them all about my grandkids. The silver is lovely quality and it's not tarnished at all. I'm 67 and this is the best piece of jewellery I own. That says a lot.

Got this for my mum for Mother's Day with me and my two sisters' names on it. She opened it at the kitchen table and completely broke down. She's worn it every single day since. My best friend turned 30 and I didn't want to just get her a voucher. I put her two kids' names on it and gave it to her at coffee. She went so quiet and then her eyes just filled up. She literally wears it every time I see her now. The platinum finish is gorgeous. Looks way more expensive than it was. Best gift I've ever given anyone.

We know how important it is to get this right. It's someone's name, after all. Please double-check your spelling before you place your order. If you spot a mistake, get in touch within 24 hours and we'll happily fix it. After that, because we start crafting your piece as quickly as possible, we may not be able to make changes. If your necklace has already been made, we can't offer a refund, but we can offer free shipping on your next order and may be able to provide a gift receipt.

Right now, we can work with English and any language that uses the English alphabet (like French, Spanish, or German, for example). We're working on expanding to other scripts, but because every Dearly Held© piece is crafted by hand, not by a machine, this takes a little more time. Watch this space.

Because every Dearly Held© piece is handcrafted to your exact personalisation, we're unable to accept returns on personalised items. We simply can't resell something made with someone else's name, date, or story. That said, we've found that when someone receives something made just for them, it tends to mean the world.

We aim to handcraft your piece within 2 business days and have it shipped within 7 working days. During busy periods, especially around holidays and gift-giving seasons, this can sometimes take a little longer. It's handmade, not mass-produced, and that's what makes it worth the wait.
